Haiku

Raindrops sounding
On my frozen skin
No translation

Tuesday, February 20, 2018

Icy

A thought passed
As fast as it came
Slippery heart

Wavery

Splashes of wind
No water to drown
My own sorrow

Shades

Shades in windows
Night seems to reveal
Its own story

Spring

Buds in the snow
What a great morning
For a sunrise

Times

An old-sword master
Cut the worth of his paintings
Inexpensive joy

Sleepwalking

Glacial morning
On sleepwalkers’ path
Barefoot thoughts

Jump

Frogs jumping
As we’re passing by
Swift bog splashes

Nostalgia

New trains speeding
On road to Kyoto
Samurai dream

Disturbed

Two kids fighting
On biggest apple
A worm lingers

Unfrozen

Wishful dreams
Melting with the snow
Frozen roses

Duality

So bright in night
So dull in twilight
Twofold firefly

Splash

Moon bathing
In a sea of clouds
Not a good brush

Footsteps

Curving over
The bridge of unknown
No footsteps

Solitude

Walking alone
Not even a sound
From others’ steps

Moonlight

Moonlight rolling
On a dreamy bridge
Between two pasts

Distortion

Light curves
Tomorrow’s hopes
With the rain

Mirrors

Mirror mirror
Who’s the nicest frog
On all bog

The Collector

Collecting leaves
For long forgotten
Booklets of mine

Return

Stopped to admire
Beauties for long forgotten
Spring in blades of leaves

Shine

Winter sleeves
Through the coldness
Mornings shine

Moonlight

Wavering thoughts
With no stone to throw
There is the moon

Twilight

The outspreading dawns
In one’s single-minded night
What a punishment

Fishy

Walking on tip-toes
To not awake the anglers
Cold fishy morning

Night

Bamboo moves from dawns to dark
Lighten sounds, reaching the bunk

Pieces four from the same sprout
Made by hand by an old monk

Prayers scend, more of an embrace
Of the dark night, from one’s faith

Puzzle

Two bowls of soup
Tiles black and white
Where should I go

Lighten

One changes hearts
By changing minds
In one’s prayer

Fishing

Settling wind
The fish stopped biting
From my dreams

Steps

I see your steps
In blades of grass
Your soul found rest

Wander

Where rest your thoughts
Long after midnight
The sleep is gone

Spring

Look around, in spin of thoughts
Night’s a chant moving within

Stars that melt in songs of birds

Love’s an errant, in outward spin

Here and there the spring finds a home

So is my heart in unknown

White Noise

Road-hitting snowflakes
Then all the white quietness
Of pushing the car

Scream

Screaming on roof
The town seems so small
Into one’s rage

Flow

Softer the mind
Smoother the wavings
Of one’s sailing

Softer the wind
Longer the journey
Of one’s being

Softer the light
More lightened the path
Of one’s flowing

Snow

Rapid random thoughts
Filling the whole emptiness
Snowflake by snowflake

Monday, January 22, 2018

Haiku

Who needs cicadas
When all one has is two flies
Hell of an uproar

Dust

By the fire
All seems so blurry
In dusting winds

Spots

Raindrops cutting through
It takes just a clean glass spot
To look at the sky

Brooming

Sweeping dried leaves
From side to the side
Greening grass blades

Moonlight

Wintery moon
In mid of nowhere
Friend or no friend

Fight

Cranes fighting
In mid of sunset
Peacefulness rules

[Unnamed]

Something to come
To take all away
Of what isn’t you

Paths

Walking alone
The path not taken
No sideways

Afloat

Too busy to count
A life without you
Floating away

Peacefulness

Holding hands
As if nothing's gone
Runaway storm

Favour

Young trees bending down
Waiting for the storm to pass
A sole bystander

Respiro

A plastic beg
Carried by the wind
Catching fresh air

Rage

Raging the wind
That knocks at the door

With my calmness

One Step Away

You could have been all
That I wished under the sky
Beloved nothingness

Steps

Stepping through puddles
Winter ain't no friend of mine
Getting much closer

Sand

All turns to sand
Under your caress
Tendering waves

Duality

Everything's gone
With nothing to hold
Mind's free at last

Moonlight

Half-bathing moon
Mind keeps wandering
Truth or no truth

Flight

How sweet the flight
Of flakes over snow
How sour the fall

Seasonal

An old lady
After umbrella
Ain’t this winter

Inertia

Fast-running donkey
Following one's illusions
Just one day further

Verges

Tomcats fighting
On the verge of death
Aren’t we all

Friday, December 22, 2017

Grasps

So familiar
The sound of raindrops falling
Turned into snowflakes

Light

Older the day
A candle’s one’s quest
To keep burning

Dragons

Where there is fire, there is hope -
Wishes raising with the smoke,
Dragons fighting with the cold,
Stories from each chimney told;

Ghosts of winter from above -
Looking back in hights with love;
All the clouds in flight can catch,
One by one wishes they snatch;

Look, some pierce a way through clouds -
Reaching to the stars in crowds;
The winds of hights take them far,
From heart to heart, star to star…

In mid of night starts to snow,
Lighten dragons through flakes flow,
All those stories now afloat,
Wish it or you wish it not…

Fairytales

White dragons
Out of black chimneys
Winter tales

Query

Why trust the angels
When devil’s tail truths riggles
One’s needings linger

Frozen

Winter bites
From leaf to leaf
Frozen queen

Branches

Twigs branching on
Toward a blue sky
Lost between leaves

Oh Gods!

Oh gods, we cherish life in vain -
It brings more sorrow and more pain;
Look at this leaf still in its youth;
Decayed in growing by man’s truth!

Oh gods, what truths man can now seek,
Of what truths minds can purely stick -
There's desire in each thread of thought,
It conquers man in smallest fought!

Oh gods, how much you love to laugh
At our thought of being rough -
We brake with winds when standing tall,
Survived inclined of being small!

Oh gods, how long one's will can live
When heart is built just to deceive -
We love the form, we love the space,
Charmed by beauty in senseless disgrace!

Oh gods, who's man at all to judge
Your purest form of joy and grudge;
I’m standing still to hear your voice,
In darkest night I long a choice!
