Mocking a bird’s steps
Without observing its flight
Glimpse of own’s ego

Life

Moving with the sun
Resting with moon's mirroring
Life perpetuates

Boxes

A bunch of boxes
Resume one's life
To posterity

Unknown

Not knowing your heart
My heart tries to know itself
In hundreds verses

Whom

Whom would you love?
The man of many faces
Or hundred verses

Frozen

Under blanket
My heart still freezes
Without your heart

Flight

A dragonfly’s wings
Frozen for posterity
Its flight in heavens

[Unnamed]

I’d fall in love
With you this winter
Beloved snowflake

Happiness

A kid’s happiness
Between first fluffy snowflakes
Winter’s warm stillness

Snowflakes

Fat rolling snowflakes
Under streets’ moving nightlights
One year of waiting

Timing

Right temperature
Right consistency of clouds
For the first snowflakes

Misact

After rain the sun
Forgot of its appearance
On the daily show

Coldness

Over the city
White smoke leaves building’s funnels
Winter's warm breathing

Flames

Making a wish
Lightning a candle
A warm feeling

Awakening

A tomcat stretching
Over armchair’s boundaries
Woke up in the fall

Marks

In open minds
Like in open books
Each leaves a mark

Sailing

In vicissitude
The mark of intelligence
Sailing with the wind

Noise

The only green leaves
In the trees before my home
Five noisy parrots

Seasonal

In an empty room
A Christmas tree and presents
Make a full household

Moonlight

A beer with close friends
The evening becomes midnight
The moon takes me home

Reflections

Reflections of you
Scattered across memories
Flakes on lustrous ice

Sailing

To sit lost in thoughts
Is to find yourself sailing
In unknown waters

Torchers

To love till last flame
And kindle another heart
Is to carry fire

Insanity

Too much craziness
Can spoil the spirit of man
And bring its freedom

Haiku

One writes haikus
Because one wonders
Simple moments

It’s Funny...

It’s funny to see faces
Turning back from one’s scars,
And not few the cases
They carry deeper mars;

It’s funny to see people
Carrying scars like you,
Needing some compassion
But coming not from you;

It’s funny to be good
But never good enough,
To be misunderstood
For trying steal a laugh;

It’s funny to be ignored
For points trying to make,
Trying not to be bored
For convention’s sake;

It’s funny our nature
Running from what’s there,
Searching for adventure
And in the end not care…

Reflection

Whom do you see
In chunks of verses
Isn’t me at all

Grieve

The hymn of Marseille
Never echoed so mighty
The grieve of Paris

Entrapment

Enslaved little minds
By the means of religion
Don’t travel too far

Terror

Soulless faces
Attack innocents
In rightness’ name

Rise

One day one touches
The stars in majestic flight
Second day the dirt

Freedom

A caged pigeon feels
As the owner approaches
The taste of freedom

Creation

First come the words
Then springs the poem
Full emptiness

Wishful Love

What is wishful love
But flight over rosebushes
Spins cutting through wings

Differences

Leaves look the same
But once we touch them
Seem different

Paper Craft

A sheet of paper
Each passerby leaves a mark
And takes a copy

Leaves

Solitary leaves
Taken away by the wind
Blended with the dust

In Memoriam

The wings of music
Took them far into the sky
And made them angels

Waltz

On park’s alleys
Pairs move in circles
Chattering birds

Piety

The sky is my church
Nature's noise is my preaching
You are my angel

Rules

How blind the rules
That spoil a man’s mind
For convention

Perfection

Lack of perfection
Makes one perfect by itself
When acceptance comes

Intruders

Two daring pigeons
Went through the central station
Artful intruders

Nudity

The fresh-dyed white walls
Make from home a bigger place
Lighted nudity

Springtime

Sunlight’s caressing
In birds’ prolonged chattering
Spring in autumn dress

Beginner’s Mind

Daring to look
At life with new eyes
Beginner’s mind

Flight

The mind follows
The flurries of change
A flying kite

Cuddle

Shedding tree branches
Bump into each other’s leaves
Searching for support

The Complot

Five loudly crows
Flying in circle
Sprung on own way

Freeze

If love’s a firestorm
Burning with intensity
Why am I freezing

Leaves

Two magpies landing
In a deciduous tree
Returning old leaves

Praise

Once the poet puts
His muse on a pedestal
She's out of his reach

Fingerprints

On autumn’s alleys
One can easily follow
Tree’s fingerprints

Beauty

A candid rose
Once one knows its spins
Prices beauty

Waves

A field of rye
Under wind’s caress
A sea of green

Meltdown

I longed for her love
Until desires melted
Into nothingness

Shift

Young people deepened
In colorful devices
Usual autumn

Borders

A river's borders
Host different expectations
Still the same river

War and Peace

A man and his mind
Left alone in the same room
Friends or enemies

Wound

Mother's frank ardor
Describing her lost daughter
For long open wound

Values

An old man's life
Judged by his walking
Not by spirit
