I thought
I thought
A pure soul can conquer all
From what’s great to what’s small,
That it can spread an ounce of light
In what is wrong and never right.
I thought
Through hard work one can succeed
And plant in every heart a seed
Of knowing life, the way we are,
To rise to stars into the far.
I thought
I’ll find someday a heart like mine
To mirror all that is sublime,
In our corner full of peace
To feel the power of a kiss.
I thought
I’d find the way to heaven
By means of power of the seven,
Transcending life and maybe death
With a master’s sacred bless.
I know
Childish were my thoughts
And much too few my pure oughts;
There’s a truth in every dream of man
When dreamed again, again, again…
A pure soul can conquer all
From what’s great to what’s small,
That it can spread an ounce of light
In what is wrong and never right.

Questions
If heart has mistaken
A smile caught in the blue
Is that mind’s awaken
Of something that it knew;
Now I start to question
That moment when I found
A warm revelation
That changed me from the ground:
Was it candid beauty
That caught the heart of me,
Or eyes’ pure nudity -
The light I thought I see?
Or was her timidity
Hidden under a smile -
That sweet serenity
I wondered for a while…
Maybe her soft gesture
While walking like the wind,
Calling to adventure
My timid simple mind…
Was it the night’s whispers
Descending from above,
Sound in angels’ whistlers
For a wonder called love?
Or, was just a moment
For me to realize
That my heart was dormant -
So I just… fantasized?!...
A smile caught in the blue
Is that mind’s awaken

Now I start to question
